Matelasse Coverlets and Shams

By its very nature, Matelasse will shrink when washed.  Sometimes shrinkage can be as much as 10%.  Shrinkage is an unavoidable part of the cleaning process.  Fortunately, Blanc Plume has the expertise and equipment to restore items to very near their original dimensions.  We accomplish this restoration by a very specialized process of hand blocking and air-drying.
