About
Trusted by fine linen owners, retailers and manufacturers as the nation’s premier cleaning & restoration expert for luxury linens and bedding.
Blanc Plume, provides fine french laundry for individuals throughout the country. Blanc Plume has built a reputation for superior quality and careful cleaning and restoration of luxury linens and bedding.
You know from your experience with fine clothing that textiles “change” slightly in appearance and texture after they are cleaned, even when cleaned properly.
We do everything possible to minimize and eliminate issues associated with fabric changes and our quality control guidelines exceed all industry standards. We use the cleaning process we believe is appropriate for the item. While we are experts at cleaning bedding, we cannot guarantee against all shrinkage, color and texture changes. We, of course, do everything possible to minimize these issues.
If a manufacturer’s care label is not attached (e.g. when an item is made at home), work is done at the customer’s risk.
We follow replacement guidelines set for the cleaning industry by the International Fabricare Institute and the FTC.
Your satisfaction is our guide, and you will not be charged for work you are not satisfied with.
Blanc Plume shares our newly remodeled 22,000 square foot plant located in central Kansas City, Kansas. The plant is designed for extremely efficient and speedy processing. Normally your items are in our plant four working days. Special services, such as antique restoration, fire damage, repairing comforters, blocking matelassé coverlets or adding down to a pillow takes just a little longer
Once your items are cleaned, they move to our finishing area for packing and shipment. Your linens are carefully wrapped around a solid base to prevent shifting, covered in custom tissue and enclosed in a dust cover. Your down comforters are fluffed, folded and wrapped in a breathable cover. Table linens can be folded or rolled.
Our technicians are trained stain removal experts. Our specialty is combining old world techniques, which have been passed down from generation to generation, with new world technology. Our training courses cover varied topics such as fabrics and textile construction, chemistry and stain removal.
